Accessions to the Zoological Museum, University of Helsinki/Helsingfors in 2006

Abstract


The number of accessions amounted to 1,439 vertebrates, 1,071,977 insects and 8,077 samples of other invertebrates. The systematic groups represented are listed, and some noteworthy finds are recorded. Erebia euryale (Esp.) (Lepidoptera), Cybister lateralimarginalis (DeG.) (Coleoptera), Xysticus viduus Kulcz. (Araneida) and Mytilopsis leucophaeata (Conr.) (Pelecypoda) are reported as new to Finland.
