A living adult Pseudotrichia rubiginosa land snail was found on the slope of the southern shore of Ruissalo Island (co-ord. 671:323) in Turku, Finland in spring 2009. The species has never before been encountered in Finland.

A body of Limax maximus samples was found in the collections of undefined samples in the Zoological Museum at the University of Turku. The body contains two rather young individuals.
